Privacy and cookie policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Who we are

Zovara Nig Limited (RC 9525793), Kilometre 2, Ugbolu-Illah Road, Asaba, Delta State, is the data controller for personal data collected through www.zovara.ng.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms:

  • Quote requests: name, company, phone number, email (optional), product, quantity, delivery location and date needed.
  • Partnership enquiries: name, organisation, phone or email, type of partnership and your message.
  • Contact messages: name, phone or email and your message.

Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it

We use your details only to respond to you: to prepare a quote, reply to an enquiry or follow up on a partnership. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on each form, and, where you go on to buy from us, the steps needed to enter into and carry out that contract.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without asking you first.

Who we share it with

  • Our website host and email provider, who store and deliver form submissions on our behalf.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp.
  • Google, only if you accept cookies and load the map on our Contact page.
  • Regulators or law enforcement, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards allowed under the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and quote requests for up to 12 months, then delete them, unless you become a customer or partner, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires for accounting and regulatory purposes.

How we protect it

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions go only to our company mailbox and a private store on our server that is not publicly accessible. Only staff who need your details to respond can see them.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, email info@zovara.ng. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We store one small setting in your browser to remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies.

If you click Accept, we load Google Maps on the Contact page. Google may then set its own cookies, covered by Google's privacy policy. If you click Reject, the map stays off and you can still open the location in Google Maps yourself.

You can change your choice at any time: .
